The British prime minister stated that Russia, unlike the summit participants, is not interested in real peace, and Putin "has initiated a long diplomatic campaign against this summit, ordering countries not to come."

In his speech, Zelenskyy cited three expectations from the peace conference in Switzerland. The first is to "prove that the return of security is indeed possible," the second is to draw up a real plan to implement the "peace formula," and the third is to determine how countries will interact on the basis of the UN Charter.

After receiving positive feedback from Ukraine on the performance of the CV90s on the battlefield, Sweden and the Netherlands plan to increase production of the combat vehicle for Ukraine.

While China will not attend the summit, it has been lobbying governments for its alternative plan, with one diplomat calling Beijing's campaign a "subtle boycott" of the global meeting in Switzerland.

Although Zelenskyy did not specify which countries he was referring to, he noted that he was very pleased with the security agreements with the United States and Japan.

The two presidents signed agreements on assistance and provided details on the transfer of French Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets, in addition to announcing a coalition of countries interested in sending military instructors to Ukraine.

Germany is considering sending a fourth Patriot system to Ukraine. This would come on top of the three that Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s government has pledged already.

According to the spokesperson, the main task of the Ukrainian Defense Forces is to ''hold back the enemy, inflict maximum losses on them and gradually move forward to liberate Ukrainian territories.''
