Around 4 PM local time, Russians struck Odesa with guided air missiles from the Black Sea, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa regional military administration. Although Ukrainian air defense forces shot down both missiles, the debris caused injuries, including to teenagers aged 10 and 15.

“Five people were injured, including a 15-year-old teenager who was outside at the time of the shootdown and has been hospitalized in the children’s clinical hospital,” Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov wrote on Telegram.
Trukhanov noted that one of the city’s children’s social institutions was damaged in the attack, but the children and staff were in a shelter at the time.
According to updated information from the Air Force, Russian military forces launched two Kh-59 missiles.
