On 28 July, Russia reportedly launched two “Iskander” ballistic missiles on Dnipro that hit a residential building and an empty building of the Security Service of Ukraine, according to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Serhii Lysak.
At least nine people were injured in the attack, including two children, 14 and 17, BBC reported. They were hospitalized.
“Dnipro. Friday evening. A high-rise building and a building of the Security Service of Ukraine were hit. Russian missile terror again. All necessary services are on site. We respond quickly and help people. We keep the situation under control. We will do everything to bring Russia to full punishment for aggression and terror against our people,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the strike on social media.
On 14 January, a Russian missile attack on an apartment block in Dnipro killed 40 civilians.
