A wave of fake reports about mining in the country and statements by the puppet government of the unrecognized Transnistria about the desire to join the Russian Federation may be a prelude to the invasion of the Russians, Vice Prime Minister of Moldova Oleg Serebryan told in an interview with The Times.
On July 22, the so-called “Minister of Foreign Affairs” of unrecognized Transnistria, Vitaly Ignatyev, announced his intentions for the region to join the Russian Federation, which coincided with waves of mass fake bomb threats.
“The idea that Transnistria wants independence is not new. But the statement that the Transnistrian region intends to join Russia was made for the first time, and no one expected this. This is an obvious provocation,” Serebryan said, suggesting a connection between the new agrressive rhetoric from Transnistria and Gagauzia and the bomb campaign.
