Terrorists provoke Ukrainian soldiers to fire towards the Russian border, ATO forces say

Vladislav Seleznev, the ATO press-secretary, says that terrorists are provoking Ukrainian soldiers to fire towards th Russian border. Despite these provocations, the ATO forces and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are ensuring the protection and defense of the state border.

The terrorists are shelling the positions of Ukrainian army from the frontier territories, provoking the Ukrainian servicemen to fire in anwer in the direction of Russia. The ATO press-secretary Vladislav Seleznev stated this on his Facebook page on Monday, June 23. That way, with the aim of provoking and escalating the conflict, the militants are deploying emplacements and are opening fire from the frontier territories that border Ukrainian state territory. By doing that, the militants provoke our forces to fire in retaliation, which would potentially allow them to blame the ATO forces for firing in the direction of the Russian Federation,” wrote Selezniov.

Moreover, he added, that despite these provocations, the ATO forces and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are ensuring the protection and defense of the state border.

As reported earlier, the terrorists are continuing to arrogantly break the terms of the truce in the East. The leaders of the militants have refused the truce and told about the attacks on Ukrainian servicemen.
