ULTRAS of the Ukrainian clubs have made a truce. “We are brothers and brethren from Luhansk to the Carpathians”

The Ukrainian Ultras posted their official allegations on the official website of the Ukrainian Ultras clubs  ultras.org.ua

We, the Ukrainian clubs’ ULTRAS speak about the following. It is a very complicated situation in Ukrainian society. In particular, some ULTRAS movements have problems with law enforcement forces and the local authorities, only because they publicly expressed their peaceful civil position as is their right. Concerning this, we believe that if we continue our confrontation it will be a crime because it will be used against us and only make the current situation worse. Considering the above-mentioned we took a decision to conclude a truce among all ULTRAS movements for an indefinite time.

The truce includes the following points:

– all elements of ULTRA groups spontaneous and non-agreed casual actions are prohibited

– seizures of banners, scarves and other fan’s attributes are prohibited

– offensive banners, chants addressing each others or opponent-cities or opponent clubs are prohibited

– one must undertake strict control not to allow offensive actions on opponents’ scarves and burning opponents scarves

– offensive graffiti, Internet PR of the existing graffiti or any graffiti war is prohibited

 – one must take strict control not to allow any conflicts with supporters of opponent clubs (not Ultras)  at home matches or  at guest matches to happen.

These points are a basis for the future truce. The decision on the truce was fully supported by the ULTRAS leaders of the following football clubs:

The Premiership: Volyn Lutsk, Vorskla Poltava, Dynamo Kyiv, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpatya Uzhhorod, Zorya Luhansk, Karpaty Lviv, Metallist Kharkiv (South and North Stands), Metallurh Zaporizhzhia, Metallurh Mariupol, FC Sevastopol, Tavriya Simferopol (Sector 5 and Sector 6 ), Chernomorets Odesa, Shahtar Donetsk.

The first and the second league: Avanhuard Kramatorsk, Bukovyna Chernivtsi, Desna Chernihiv ( Boys from the northern capital and Desna Ultras), Dnipro Cherkasy, Enerhiya Nova Kahovka, Zirka Kirovohrad, (the red-yellow and the yellow-green), Krystal Kherson, FC Mylolaiv, Niva Ternopil, FC Oleksandriya, Obolon Kyiv, Podillya Khmelnitsky, Skala Stryi, Stal Alchevsk, Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk, FC Sumy, Titan Armyansk.

Ultras groups of amateur leagues and without clubs: Krivbass Kryvyi Rih, Niva Vinnitsya.

We ask those movements which we couldn’t get in touch to support our initiative and confirm their commitment to keep the truce on all above-mentioned points.

Moreover we believe that there is only one basic principle we should stick to – that is we are Ukrainians. So we should give mutual understanding, trust and mutual assistance top priority. We appeal to all Ukrainian supporters not involved in Ultras movements (we speak not only about football) to join the truce and treat each other without aggression despite confrontations between our clubs at the grounds or fields.

Those who initiated the truce want to add separately: the latest developments in Ukraine, without a doubt have revealed to many of you a horrible truth. Those feelings that Ultras watched and felt all the time now are familiar to the Ukrainian citizens from different corners. That is injustice, brutal treatment, beatings, and tortures. That’s the way the authorities treat the citizens of Ukraine (and these things are not the most terrible). Yesterday Ultras all over Ukraine supported the Pavlychenko’s family and said  “ Today Pavlychenko; the next time, you”. As we can see, we were right, everyone can easily fall victim to false accusations and deplorable sentences from the most just and humane court in the world today.

But it is not the worst. Pro-government politicians of all ranks and small town leaders continue to wage hypocritical and lying games contradicting one part of Ukraine with another. They manipulate skillfully by feelings they have created, labelling and they have a longing for the confrontation in society to become irreversible. People who are brainwashed don’t see the problem in Ukraine, especially concerning the latest developments.

That’s why we believe that we cannot continue the confrontations among Ultras at this moment as it is a crime against the bright future of Ukraine.

“We are brothers and brethren from Luhansk to the Carpathians”

Glory to Ukraine!
