The Federal Archives of Germany have transferred nine historically significant Ukrainian films to the Dovzhenko National Center, spanning a critical period from 1919 to 1940.
The team of the Ukrainian company IronGlass, based in Zaporizhzhia, manufactured the lenses during wartime, "some remotely from the trenches,” a company representative, said on social media.
With distribution rights in more than 80 countries and a record-breaking opening weekend in Ukraine, the animated film unveils a fantasy world rooted in the nation's folklore.
