The terrorist act in Kharkiv on Sunday, February 22, was planned by Russian special services from Belgorod, Russia. and was intended to cause a high number of casualties, Markian Lubkivsky, advisor to the Security Service of Ukraine, stated on the “Details of the week” program on the Inter  TV channel.

We can see very clearly that evidence is leading to Belgorod in the Russian Federation. This action has been planned for a long time and was meant to kill people,” he said.

According to Lubkivsky, the terrorist activities planned for Kharkiv were much more extensive. “We were able to anticipate them and prevent many more victims, since the terrorists were planning to use weapons to attack one of the most popular gathering spots for ATO volunteers and soldiers as well as a shopping center,” Lubkivsky said.

shmelHe reported that police have detained four individuals who are suspected of involvement in Sunday’s terrorist act in Kharkiv. Investigations are ongoing.

When asked if he could confirm that Moscow was behind the terrorist act in Kharkiv, Lubkivsky said that he could confirm it.

“Furthermore the Shmel protable rocket launcher ( that was removed from the suspects) was received in Belgorod by the leader of this gang. The instructions were obtained from the Russian Federation. We can see this very clearly,” he said.

Earlier, Lubkivsky wrote on Facebook that the suspects have confessed they had received the Russian produced Shmel rocket launcher in Russia.
