“The attack destroyed at least 6 Russian military aircraft and inflicted substantial damage on another 8. Moreover, approximately 20 Russian military personnel were either killed or wounded in the incident,” the source stated.

The source also mentioned that the Morozovsk airbase served as a crucial hub for Russian air operations, housing Su-24, Su-24M, and Su-34 bombers. These aircraft have been actively used by Russia to target Ukrainian military positions and frontline cities, causing extensive damage and casualties.
According to OSINT analyst MT Anderson, who examined satellite imagery from 4 April, up to 30 aircraft, including 26 Su-34 fighter-bombers and 3 Su-30/35 multirole fighters, were present at the Morozovsk airbase during the recent drone attack.
