Drones attacked several Russian military airfields at once – in Morozovsk, Yeisk, and Engels. Local residents reported dozens of explosions on social media.
In Morozovsk, Rostov Oblast, the military airfield is located 3 km southwest of Rostov. It is home to the 559th Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 1st Guards Mixed Aviation Division of the Russian Air Force. Specifically, Su-24, Su-24M, and Su-34 bombers are stationed here, which Russia uses to drop guided aerial bombs on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and front-line Ukrainian cities. So far, there is no confirmed data on damage to the airfield in Morozovsk. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that air defense shot down 44 drones. There is no confirmed information about damage to the airfield.

The Engels airfield hosts heavy strategic long-range bombers Tu-160 and Tu-95MS, which Russia uses to deliver missile strikes on Ukraine.
The military airfield in Yeisk, Krasnodar Krai, is home to the 859th Center for Combat Employment and Retraining of Naval Aviation Personnel of the Russian Navy and the 190th Training Mixed Aviation Regiment of the Navy. The Russian Defense Ministry said that six drones were shot down there.
At the Engels airfield in Saratov Oblast, heavy strategic long-range bombers Tu-160 and Tu-95MS are based, which Russia uses to deliver missile strikes on Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that one drone was shot down there.
There is no accurate data on the damage in Engels and Yeisk so far.
The Ukrainian authorities have not commented on these attacks.
