Russian attack on Nikopol injures 5, including 7-year-boy

Russian forces have been shelling Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, since the morning, injuring five, Governor Serhii Lysak said.

Nikopol faces Russian-occupied Enerhodar and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant across the Dnipro River. The city in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast suffers from constant shelling, which leads to numerous casualties among the civilians.

Among the injured civilians due to the attack on 13 March is a seven-year-old boy.

According the Lysak, the injured 43-year-old man and two 74-year-old women will recover at home. One wounded woman, 73, was hospitalized. Her condition is reportedly moderate.

The Russian attack on Nikopol also damaged several residential buildings and city infrastructure.
