A Russian drone strike on a Kyiv high-rise has killed a 14-year-old girl and injured six others, with one victim hospitalized, Kyiv Military Administration reports.
This strike broke through Kyiv’s air defenses, which typically intercept most drones in Russia’s near-nightly attacks on the capital.

“The building in the Solomyanskyi district suffered damage to apartments from the 17th to 21st floors. The fire has been extinguished,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
The teen’s body was discovered on the 20th floor after a Shahed drone struck the building during Russia’s 25 October evening attack.
Emergency teams evacuated roughly 100 residents and established a mobile aid station.
At night, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down nearly a dozen Russian drones heading toward Kyiv during the 7.5-hour air raid alert. This marks the 16th air attack on Kyiv this month.
