Russian forces launched a series of attacks across Ukraine, targeting multiple oblasts with missiles and drones overnight into 9 October.
The Air Force of Ukraine's Armed Forces reports that Russia fired three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles at Poltava Oblast. Governor Pronin said that the attack damaged an industrial facility.
Ukrainian air defense also downed 21 out of 22 Russian drones over Odesa, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv oblasts.
Russian drone attack in the Odesa district injured five people, Odesa Governor Oleh Kiper said. Three of them were hospitalized. The attack also damaged a nine-story building and a medical facility, while an unfinished construction site caught fire.
