Russian forces carried out strikes using guided aviation bombs on the village of Olkhovatka in Kupiansk district of Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov. He also said that a 48-year-old woman was killed as a result of the attack.
“10 private houses and a store were damaged. A fire broke out at the school due to the shelling. Emergency services continue to eliminate the consequences,” Syniehubov wrote on Telegram.
Kupiansk and surrounding areas were under Russian occupation for half a year, but last year Ukrainian forces liberated the city. Now Russian troops have gone on the offensive again in this area in an attempt to retake control.
