On 3 December, Ukrainian Forces attacked an oil depot located in Russian-occupied Luhansk. the Strategic Communications Department of Ukraine’s Armed Forces disclosed this information on 4 December.
“Yesterday, 3 December 2023, the Defense Forces carried out a successful fire strike on fuel and oil warehouses within the temporarily occupied Luhansk,” they stated.

Earlier reports indicated that a major oil depot in temporarily occupied Luhansk was engulfed in flames on the night of 4 December due to an attack by an unidentified drone.
Artem Lysohor, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, remarked on the incident, “An unknown drone bypassed all possible electronic warfare means and struck the oil heart of the so-called LNR. The explosion was loud, and the fire was bright. It was first heard by thousands of Luhansk residents, awakening them, and then seen.”
