Intense battles continue across the eastern and southern fronts, with a total of 79 skirmishes occurring in just the past day, Ukraine’s General staff reported in its evening frontline update on 27 November.
Over the past day, Russian forces conducted one missile strike, three aviation strikes, and 13 attacks using multiple rocket launchers amid the relentless fighting.
Russian forces attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near Synkivka and Petropavlivka in Kharkiv Oblast on the Kupiansk front but were repelled, with Ukrainian troops successfully thwarting three attacks.
In Luhansk Oblast, near Stelmakhivka and the Serebrianske forest, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 Russian attacks.

The Donetsk region saw continued aggression with assaults in Terny, Yampilivka, and Torske. Bakhmut has become a focal point of intense fighting, where Ukrainian defenses in Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka withstood 26 Russian attacks.
On Avdiivka’s direction, from Novobakhmutivka to Tonenke, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 21 assaults.
Despite aerial support, Russian offensives in Mariinka and Novomykhailivka were driven back by Ukrainian defenders on nine occasions.
Additionally, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, two Russian attempts to regroup near Robotyne were disrupted.
Ukrainian forces maintain their left bank Kherson positions, continuing to strike occupying forces. According to General Staff, Ukrainian missile units targeted regions with concentrations of Russian personnel, arms, and military equipment.
