Russian forces used FAB-250, 250-kilogram air-dropped bombs, over Ukraine’s town of New York, located 2 km from the frontline.
On 21 July, around 7:05 p.m., Russian armed forces shelled the town of New York in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast. According to preliminary information, Russians used FAB-250 aerial bombs. As a result, four civilians died, including a couple – the remains of their bodies were removed by rescuers from under the rubble of the destroyed house, the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office informed.
In addition, three more civilians were injured, particularly a woman whose husband died. They are in the hospital. Blast waves damaged residential and farm buildings.
