Speaking to CNN, Ukraine's Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that around 30% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure was hit by Russian missiles in 10-11 October.
He said this was the first time from the beginning of the war that Russia has dramatically targeted energy infrastructure, suggesting that one reason behind this was that Ukrainian electricity exports to Europe “helps European countries to save on Russian gas and coal."
