Kirill Rinne has partnered with drone developers in Kharkiv to create a robotic casualty evacuation system combining ground drones, aerial scouts, and automated turrets.
This ground drone can float, clear mines, perform medevac, and withstand electronic warfare. It joins nearly 80 domestically made unmanned ground vehicles introduced since 2022.
With all other evacuation options blocked by Russian proximity and constant attacks, a ground drone successfully moved the wounded over 17 km to safety.
Kyiv-based firm Ukrainian Armor presented its new Protector uncrewed ground vehicle at an exhibition in Poland. The logistics drone can also be used for reconnaissance, launching UAVs, and be equipped with armaments.
Ukraine has trialed the "Solomandra" robotic platform, an unmanned ground vehicle intended to clear anti-personnel mines, facilitating demining operations while minimizing risks to personnel.
Ukraine's drone forces made history by deploying an unmanned, robotic ground vehicle equipped with a machine gun which was reportedly adjusted via air drone to eliminate Russian personnel.
