Miller related to Shefchovych the new position under consideration by the Russian side: the Ukrainian transit route will be transferred to Turkey and Europe should hurry to build appropritae gas transportable pipes in order to receive this gas in a new location which will be the point of release and delivery of the gas on the border of Turkey and Greece. Miller again affirmed that the project "Southern Stream" is closed. "The Gas flow Turkish Stream is the only route through which one can deliver 63 million cubic meters of Russian gas which are untill now still being transited through Ukraine. There are no other possibilities. Our European partners are informed about this and now their task is to create a necessary gas-transportation infrastructure from the border of Turkey and Greece," he stated.

Shefrovych in his turn stated that the decision of Gasprom evokes a reaction of surprise on the part of the ound outEurocommission: "Today we discovered that that gas which is transported through Ukraine – that amount will re-directed through a new pipe system. This concerns relatively large quantities of gas, which, certainly, are not needed neither in Turkey, nor in countries of South-Easter Europe," he told the journalists.

January 13 – The Ukrainian soldiers who are defending the destroyed Donetsk airport, were given the next ultimatum by the Russian terrorists. The Ukrainian army gave them artillery support – it shot at the positions of the Russians. "The terminal which we are defending, has been totally

shot through. But we are not going anywhere. We are not planning to retreat. We are being destroyed by heavy shelling for three days. There is nothing more left here. We are awaiting support," informed one of the Ukrainian soldiers. During a 24-hour period in the Donetsk Airport, six soldiers were wounded. All of them were evacuated.

January 13 – On Wednesday, President Petro Poroshenko will sign an order about the next round of the draft to the Ukrainian Army.

January 13 – Ukraine will increase limiting movement across the line, on whose other side are found regions of Donbas which are under the controll of the fighters. "Regardless of this, the terrorists started to use the stolen tinted money for their own purposes as well as to settle their accounts with the residents. Stealing and using the stolen as one's own property is a typical method of acting among the Russian terrorist groups, added Turchynov. "We warn the inhabitants, that no Ukrainian bank institution will accept tinted stolen money. January 10 – The Boeing passanger plane of Malaysian Airlines, was shot down by pro-Russian fighters in summer 2014; the shot which led to the catastrophe was fired by a zenith-rocket complex of BUK M1, which was brought from Russian Kursk. This is verified by the results of the investigation carried out by the organization of journalistic investigations CORRECT! V.

According to the data of the journalists, the position from which the Boeing was being fired upon, was delivered by the members of the 53rd zenith-rocket brigade, with the goal of providing protection to the Russian tank divisions, who were fighting on Ukrainian territory without their codes of identification.

The data of the British reconnaissance team Bellingcat.com indicate that on the day of of the Boeing catastrophe – July 17th – the artillery BUK traveled on the Donetsk Route No. 21, leaving Donetsk around 11 in the morning: "It is being transported on a tractor platform with a white cabin – it was reported in the investigation. The Bellingcat reserchers reached the conclusion that the самохідна self-propelling fire addition with the identification numbers 3 * 2, photographed in June amid the armed convoy, heading from Kursk in the direction of the Ukrainian border, was the same BUK which was photographed by Paris Match in Eastern Ukraine.

The photographer of the French magazine Paris Match took pictures of the moving automobile. He was close and caught the side part of the BUK – its identification number and other identity signs carelessly painted over. On the truck platform company with the BUK, there was a telephone number. It belongs to a company in Donetsk which leases automobiles. The owner of the company later informed that his machine was stolen in June by pro-Russian separatists," – it was reported in the investigation.

In answer to the question of who could have launched the rocket of BUK, all the experts, including among them former soldiers of the 53-rd brigade PPO in Kursk, agree that the seperatists were not able to use the BUK. "There is no doubt that the order to shoot at MN 17 was given by a Russian officer," summarize the authors of the investigation.

January 9 – Four Ukrainian military were killed, eight wounded in the last 24 hours, – informed NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko. He believes that this is due to arrival of new Russian "humanitarian aid convoy" – weapons, ammunition and terrorists have again arrived from Russia.

January 9 – Russia hasn't provided any positive signs about the conflict in Ukraine, thus there are no reasons to lift EU sanctions, – stated Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius on Friday ("Interfax-Ukraine"). He made this statement a day after EU Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini said that she can see "limited positive signs on behalf of Russia". Lithuanian Minister has stressed that Russia continues to support armed groups in eastern Ukraine and sends humanitarian convoys, which are not permitted to be inspected by the representatives of Ukraine or the Red Cross.

January 9 – Russia became fifth on the list of countries with a high probability of default, ahead of several countries with speculative rating, including Lebanon, Egypt, Portugal.

January 9 – Lithuania, United Kingdom, Denmark and Estonia have addressed the European Commission regarding an action plan against Russian propaganda campaign (as stated in a letter by foreign ministers of the four countries, addressed to Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, – reports Delfi.lt). January 9 – Ukrainian officer Nadiya Savchenko has been on a hunger strike for 28 days and has lost 10 kilograms. Her attorney Mark Feigin wrote this on his Twitter. Savchenko was transfered to a solitary cell: "She was put in a solitary cell due to her hunger strike," he said. Savchenko is on a hunger strike since December 13th. In Russia she is accused of beinginvolved in the death of Russian journalists. She denies any of these accusations; her defense claims that Savchenko was kidnapped by Russian terrorists and was forcibly taken beyond the territory of Ukraine. In September Savchenko was already held in a solitary cell. At present she is a deputy of Parliament from "Batkivshchyna" Party and a delegate in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

January 6 – Russian tanks were noticed in Kuibyshev district and near Putyliv road junction in Donetsk. The enemy continues to transfer artillery units and armored vehicles to Donetsk. At least two large units consisting of armored vehicles and artillery were spotted in the area in last 2 days.

Bus transportation in the ATO area has been terminated to avoid life threatening situations due to possible terrorist attacks by Russian terrorists.

January 6 – Mariupol activists say that they have spotted the separatists, who in April and May last year seized a number of administrative buildings in the city. Security Services of Ukraine's counter- intelligence apprehended one of the fighters in the gang "Svat", who after special training in an army camp in the city of Sevastopol received an assignment from representatives of the Russian Secret Services to organize and carry out terrorist attacks against peaceful ressidents in Ukrainian cities.

A resident of Mariupol, a citizen of Ukraine with the nickname "Phila", born in 1988, sentenced for stealing in the past, was brought into an illegally formed fighting brigade "Hiurzoya". "Phila" was issued an automatic rifle and sent to stand guard on the blockpost of the fighter "Chekhov". The apprehended one gave the Secret Services of Ukraine staff information about the direct involvement of Russian Special Services in organizing and financing of terrorist activities on the territory of Ukraine. He was a witness of the involvement of contracted soldiers of the RF armed forces in fighting against ATO forces. "Phila" also provided information about the illegal provision by the foreign side through uncontrolled parts of the border of heavy artillery – artillery parts, mine granades, etc.

In the process of the pre-trial research, the fighter provided information that the terrorist attacks using automats with explosions in Ukrainian blogpost in the micro-region "Eastern" in Mariupol and in the region Kominternove of the Donetsk region in the fall of this year were organized all from a mobile telephone and done under the direction of the representatives FSB RF. January 4 – Militants in Donetsk have again announced curfew restrictions (these were cancelled for new year holidays). The residents have been warned to carry a passport with them at all times and not to walk the streets of Donetsk after 10 pm.

January 4 – Situation in the ATO area (Donetsk direction) has significantly deteriorated during the day – illegal armed groups have carried out 22 attacks on Ukrainian military positions.

January 4 – Someone has tried to set fire to the office of Kherson Charity Foundation "Zakhyst" (community organization supporting the army). The incident is one in a series of attacks on charities and organizations of volunteers supporting Ukrainian Armed Forces in many cities of Ukraine.

Overall, Kherson and Halychyna scored "zero". Its answer to Nikita Makhalkov was also provided by the "eternally Russian" city of Odesa – 0.0%.

Analagous figures were elicited by the question whether the citizens would want their region to separate from Ukraine, but to remain independent and not to unite with Russia. Only 2.6% want the independence of their region.

January 3 – Part of the strategy of RF President Volodymyr Putin regarding the Ukrainian conflict is "unquestionably, also the attempt to influence public opinion in Russia itself, in Ukraine, and in Germany – including using the assistance of propaganda and the manipulation of thoughts."

This was stated by the Head of the Committee of Foreign Affairs of the Bundestag, the deputy from the Christian-Democratic Union, Norbert Rettgen, in an interview in the publication Tagesspiegel. In view of this, he urged all to be more careful in having to deal with such acts of Kremlin. "We in Germany, have not even begun a discussion regarding this propaganda, much less even to consider our reply," noted the Head of the Bundestag Committee. The German politician turned attention to the fact that journalists of the public tv-radio companies of the Federal Republic of Germany, "who work on the materials from Eastern Ukraine and directly talk about the participation of Russia in events there", are under enormous pressure. This needs to be talked about, believes Rettgen. "When there exists an awareness of this hidden, organized influence on public thought, it ceases to attain its function," said he.

January 2 – Russian terrorists have carried out 16 provocative shooting attacks on Ukrainian military positions, – informs ATO press center. By using small arms, rocket launchers and mortars, the terrorists fired at Donetsk airport (during the night), and by using small arms only – are near Chornukhyne village. The villages/towns of Stryi Aydar, Zolote, Popasna, Vuhlehirsk, Chermalyk have also suffered the effects of mortar attacks.

January 2 – The enemy began to group its battle formations and is relocating them closer to advanced positions of Ukrainian troops in the ATO area, – informs "Information Resistance" group.

January 2 – 2 new enemy formations, which include up to 200 people and 6 armored vehicles, have been recorded near the city of Volnovakha.

Lysenko reminded that the involvement of under-age children in participating in the army actions and army services is a deep violation of the International Humanitarian Legal Law, especially Article 38 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Children.

The gold currency reserves of Russia continued to decrease, while the rating of support for Putin's actions, increased. This year the ministry of the Economic Development of Russia examined the official prognosis about the inflation of the ruble three times. The beginning prognosis to the end of the year was increased almost twice – from 4.8% to 9%. Realistically, as the Russian Minister of Finances Anton Syluanov stated on December 25th, "according to the year's summary, most probably the inflation will quickly rise to 11.5%, and possibly even somewhat higher."
