January 13 – The Ukrainian soldiers who are defending the destroyed Donetsk airport, were given the next ultimatum by the Russian terrorists. The Ukrainian army gave them artillery support – it shot at the positions of the Russians. “The terminal which we are defending, has been totally
shot through. But we are not going anywhere. We are not planning to retreat. We are being destroyed by heavy shelling for three days. There is nothing more left here. We are awaiting support,” informed one of the Ukrainian soldiers. During a 24-hour period in the Donetsk Airport, six soldiers were wounded. All of them were evacuated.
January 13 – On Wednesday, President Petro Poroshenko will sign an order about the next round of the draft to the Ukrainian Army.
January 13 – Ukraine will increase limiting movement across the line, on whose other side are found regions of Donbas which are under the controll of the fighters. This is included in the statement of President Petro Poroshenko regarding the tragedy in Volnovakh. According to the President, the construction of buildings of fortifications, which protect from possible counter-attacks from the side of the fighters, is “almost completed.”
