A few years ago, the Victory Day parade would have been much more pompous and with military hardware. However, this year celebrations in Ukraine on May 9 are much simpler. For the second year, Ukrainians celebrate also a Remembrance day on May 8, as well as the Day of Liberation from Nazism on May 9.
