Pseudo elections were held in terrorist self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) and supposed Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR) on Sunday, November 2. The leaders of the breakaway republics were “officially elected”.
TSN (The Sports Network) Reporter Ruslan Kharchenko decided to experiment and “vote” at the farcical elections in his native Krasny Luch, in Luhansk Oblast.
Almost all the people lining up to vote were retired people on pensions [that have not been paid in months]. They worried first of all about what to eat the next day. Unfortunately, there was not only a fake election, but it was accompanied with a mass distribution of fake social security cards. The cards were promised to everybody above 18 years old [who voted], but there were not even sufficient social security cards for all pensioners. The whole process was closely monitored by men armed with sub-machine guns.
“At the station I was approached by an armed militant who asked me for my documents and passport. I showed them to him and all was settled. What was the most surprising was that he told me that someone saw me on television. That is, I was “leaked” by someone close to me. But everything ended well,” said Kharchenko.
There were no restrictions in this “vote”. Anyone could vote, any number of times on any site, and even via the Internet.
How many such pseudo votes will be calculated is a rhetorical question. The journalist made his choice and wrote on the ballot, “Krasny Luch is Ukraine “.
During the “elections” in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and so-called Luhansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR), nothing unexpected happened. The current DNR terrorist leader Oleksandr Zacharchenko is winning the election with 70% of “votes”, with the current LNR terrorist leader Ihor Plotnitskiy winning with 63,17% of “votes”. Voters’ turnout rate reported by terrorists was 62%. The regional human rights organization “Postup” reported to UNIAN that turnout in “constituencies” was a result of PR about the so-called “social cards” which were to be provided on the day of the “elections”, upon presentation of documents by voters. The Russian parliament recognized the “elections” and requested Kyiv do the same. The EU confirmed again that it will not recognize the so-called elections in the self-proclaimed DNR and LNR, and, as was reported earlier, the US also will not recognize these bogus “elections”. Military operations resumed right after “elections”.
