At the DFNC2 International Defense Industries Forum in Kyiv, the American D&M Holding Company signed an agreement with Ukraine’s defense giant Ukroboronprom to produce ammunition and special chemicals, according to Militarnyi.
In September, D&M Holding Company opened a munitions production plant in Ukraine. The company has completed the construction of the new facility and is expanding and increasing its production.
Oleh Huliak, CEO of Ukroboronprom, and Dan Powers, executive director of D&M Holding Company, signed the agreement.
“We are very grateful and look forward to the new products and projects that Ukrainian industry is working on so we can continue our joint efforts,” said Dan Powers at the meeting with Ukrainian representatives.
While the specifics of the agreement were not disclosed, a D&M representative noted that the company has been cooperating with Ukraine since the beginning of the war in 2022, contributing to the development of its defense industry.
“It is about real collaboration because this war will end, and afterward, Ukraine will have an excellent defense industry that the world will need. So we will continue our work even after the war ends,” another representative of the company added.
The American company is not managing ammunition production but rather is responsible for constructing the facility.
D&M Holding provides turnkey solutions for ammunition production to government and commercial clients seeking large-scale engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Its products and services include equipment design, production, engineering, and consultancy services.
