Over 12,000 Ukrainian soldiers and instructors have accomplished NATO’s DEEP program

More than 12,000 Ukrainian soldiers and instructors have undergone training and professional development courses within NATO’s “Defence Education Enhancement Programme” (DEEP), First Deputy Minister of Defense Oleksandr Pavliuk informed.

“As a part of work at the NATO headquarters, I had a meeting with the director of the DEEP program, Mariusz Solis.

The DEEP program is a powerful tool that has been assisting Ukraine in improving and aligning our education with the Alliance for over 10 years. Approximately 1000 events have been held.

More than 12,000 military personnel and instructors have undergone training and professional development courses within DEEP,” noted Pavliuk.

The deputy minister also emphasized that despite the Russian war, one of the main priorities of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine remains the development of military education, particularly the training system for professional sergeant personnel.
