Ukraine’s General Staff says Ukrainian forces struck multiple Russian military and energy infrastructure targets across occupied territories and inside Russia over May 23–24.
Ukraine has increasingly expanded long-range strikes against Russian logistics, fuel, and military infrastructure in an effort to disrupt supply chains, pressure the war economy, and reduce Moscow’s ability to sustain operations against Ukraine.
The list includes a hit on the oil loading berth at the “Tamanneftegaz” terminal in Volna, Krasnodar Krai. According to the statement, a loading stander was damaged. The terminal is one of Russia’s key Black Sea export oil facilities, with an annual capacity of up to 20 million tonnes of crude and petroleum products, and is used to support Russia’s military supply system.
The General Staff also reported strikes on ammunition storage sites in Mizhhiria in occupied Crimea, as well as logistics and ammunition depots and a fuel and lubricants storage site near Bilolutsk in Luhansk Oblast.
UAV command posts and Russian naval assets targeted
Ukrainian forces also struck UAV command and control points in Borisivka in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast, Voskresenka in occupied Donetsk Oblast, and Tetkino in Kursk Oblast. Additional strikes were reported against troop concentrations near Volfynskyi in Kursk Oblast.
The General Staff said strikes also reached the Russian Black Sea Fleet base in Novorossiysk, where the patrol ship Pytlivy and a missile hovercraft were damaged. The extent of damage is still being assessed.
The military said the targeted facilities and assets form part of Russia’s operational and logistical support network used in the war against Ukraine.
Ukraine continues long-range pressure campaign
The strikes form part of a broader Ukrainian campaign against Russian fuel, logistics, naval, and command infrastructure both in occupied territories and inside Russia itself.
Kyiv has increasingly focused on degrading Russia’s ability to transport fuel, store ammunition, coordinate drone operations, and sustain military deployments far from the front line.
Officials said Ukrainian forces will continue systematic operations aimed at reducing Russia’s military and economic capacity to wage war against Ukraine.
