Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 110 out of 125 drones deployed by Russia in overnight attacks from 9 and 10 February, according to the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
From 18:00 on 9 February, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 125 strike UAVs including Shahed, "Gerbera," "Italmas" and other drone types launched from Kursk, Orel, Briansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, and Millerovo. Approximately 70 of them were Shahed-type drones.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled the air attack.
As of 08:30 on 10 February, air defense shot down or suppressed 110 Russian drones in the northern, southern and eastern parts of the country, according to preliminary data. Thirteen strike UAVs hit six locations, with debris also falling at two locations. The attack continues with enemy UAVs still in Ukrainian airspace.
In Odesa Oblast, residential areas in three communities were partially left without power following Russian strikes on energy infrastructure. Russia attacked energy infrastructure in the Izmail district of Odesa Oblast overnight. Several communities were left without electricity, the Izmail District Military Administration reported on the Facebook
According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, an energy facility and an administrative building were damaged. ]Residential areas in three communities were partially de-energized, critical infrastructure facilities are operating on backup power from generators.
DTEK specialists are currently working on temporary connection of settlements to the grid.
The Russian forces continues targeted strikes on civilian railway infrastructure in Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, reported Oleksiy Kuleba, Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.
Near Tereshchenska station in Sumy Oblast, the track was damaged and traffic was temporarily restricted for restoration.
In addition, a drone hit a service vehicle in which railway workers were traveling to repair a section of track: one worker was injured and taken to hospital with shrapnel injuries, other brigade members were safely evacuated.
In Chernihiv Oblast, at Snovsk station, a diesel train was struck — the fire was quickly extinguished.
Restoration work continues everywhere, train movement is ensured.
In Kyiv, emergency response work continues in residential buildings. 176 emergency restoration crews are involved — 840 specialists, including 83 Ukrzaliznytsia brigades and specialists from other regions.
"In parallel, we are strengthening cogeneration and alternative power sources. Over the past weeks, together with international partners and the government, we have transferred energy equipment with a total capacity of almost 100 MW to communities," he said.
As ArmiyaInform reported, on the night of 9 February, the Russian forces attacked with 11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 149 strike UAVs.
A one-year-old boy, two women and a man were injured as a result of Russian UAV attacks in Zaporizhzhia. The victims are being provided with all necessary assistance. The number of injured is being clarified.
Overnight, Russian drones attacked settlements in Zaporizhzhia district. Fires broke out at several addresses due to shelling — residential buildings and an outbuilding burned. Buildings located nearby were damaged by the blast wave.
At one address, emergency workers unblocked two women and two children aged 1 and 10 by opening doors damaged by the explosion.
On the night of 10 February, Russian invaders once again attacked Vilniansk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, reported regional governor Ivan Fedorov.
As a result of the Russian drone strike, private houses and outbuildings were damaged.
"Two women, a man and a boy who is not yet two years old were injured," Fedorov noted.
Over the course of the day, occupiers delivered 657 strikes on 35 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Sloviansk came under attack by Russian drones on the night of 10 February, reports Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, on Facebook.
According to him, the city came under attack by Geran-2 UAVs overnight. Private houses were damaged. There were no casualties.
On the morning of 9 February, Russian forces launched an airstrike on the residential sector of Druzhkivka. A woman was pulled from under the rubble.
