The Russian military launched an attack with at least 15 drones on Kharkiv in the early hours of 4 April, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.

Russian drones hit the city’s Novobavarskyi, Slobidskyi, and Saltivskyi districts.

The drone attack also injured 12 people with varying degrees of severity: three are in serious condition, and five are in moderate condition, the rest are in light condition.

During the night, Russian troops also attacked two other regions in the Kharkiv Oblast, damaging civilian infrastructure and cars. However, there were no casualties.

Ukraine’s military reported that it downed 11 out of 20 Russian drones overnight into 4 April. Russian troops launched the drones from the Kursk Oblast in Russia.

Over the past day, the Russian military targeted 20 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast with different types of weapons, including drones, missiles, and the KAB, Russian 500-kilogram caliber aircraft bombs.

According to Syniehubov, Russia launched a Kh-59MK-1 missile on the city of Marefa, injuring a 65-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man. Another Russian attack on Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi injured a 69-year-old man on 3 April.
