Ukrainian rescuers found the body of an almost one-year-old baby next to a woman’s body on the morning of 3 March, Governor Oleh Kiper said.
This brings the total number of deaths to 10 due to the Russian attack on Odesa on the night of 2 March. Rescuers have continued to sift through the rubble for over a day now.
A Russian Shahed drone struck an apartment building in Odesa, destroying 18 apartments.
Among the ten people killed, there were a pregnant woman, a three-year-old, a four-month-old, and up to a one-year-old child. The attack injured eight other people.
The State Emergency Service reported earlier that 10 to 12 people could be trapped under the rubble.
