Ukraine destroys Russian fighter jet, 12 drones, guided missile overnight

Ukraine destroys Russian fighter jet, 12 drones, guided missile overnight

Ukraine destroyed Russian fighter bomber Su-34, 12 shahed drones, and one guided missile Kh-59 over Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, Ukraine’s Air Forces reported on 18 February.

Russia attacked Ukraine with six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, three Kh-22 cruise missiles, a Kh-59 guided missile, and 14 Shahed-type attack drones overnight.

Russia launched guided missiles from occupied Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, cruise missiles from Voronezh in Russia, and drones from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

Ukrainian-occupied territories by Russian forces become a Russian military base and are used for further Russian aggression against Ukraine.

A day before, on the morning of 17 February, Ukrainian forces also destroyed three Russian fighter jets.
