Gyunduz Mamedov, Ukraine’s former deputy prosecutor general, wrote on X/Twitter that overnight into 10 December, Russian strikes on residential areas of Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kherson oblasts killed four Ukrainian civilians and injured seven more.
“12 houses, a dormitory, an educational institution, and infrastructure facilities were damaged,” according to his data.
Yesterday evening, two women, 67 and 71, died and a 33-year-old man was injured in Kharkiv’s Kupiansk under Russian shelling. The regional authorities reported that another Russian attack on Podoly, Kupiansk district, also injured a 51-year-old woman and damaged her household. Multiple attacks on other settlements damaged educational facilities, a dormitory, and private homes, according to the report.
Russian shelling kills two, injures two in Kupiansk district
According to the Kherson Oblast Military Administration Head, Oleksandr Prokudin, the 24 hours between 6 a.m. on 9 and 10 December saw 71 Russian fire attacks in Kherson Oblast as the Russians fired 264 munitions from mortars, artillery guns, multiple rocket launchers, UAVs, and aircraft. He says the attacks killed one and injured four other civilians, targeting residential neighborhoods in the oblast’s settlements and an educational facility in Kherson City.
Acting Donetsk Oblast Head, Ihor Moroz, said that on 9 December the body of a civilian killed in a previous Russian attack was discovered in Pereizne, Donetsk Oblast.
