On 29 November, Russian air defenses reportedly shot down a drone that was flying toward the Russian capital, mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin said
“The forces of the anti-aircraft defense repelled a drone attack in the Podolsk urban district, which was flying toward Moscow,” the mayor said.
According to Sobyanin, there were no destructions or victims at the crash site of the wreckage.
Russia’s Defense Ministry also issued a statement claiming they prevented an “attack using an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle” at 7:30 am Moscow time.
“The Russian anti-aircraft defense destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the territory of the Podolsky urban district in Moscow Oblast,” the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
