The Russian Defence Ministry reported that Ukraine allegedly attacked Moscow with three drones on the morning of 30 July, but all of them were destroyed.
“On the morning of 30 July, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist act using UAVs against facilities in the city of Moscow was thwarted,” Russia’s MoD said.
“One Ukrainian UAV was destroyed in the air by air defense systems over the territory of the Odintsovo district of Moscow Oblast. Two more drones were suppressed by electronic warfare equipment and, having lost control fell on the territory of a complex of non-residential buildings in the city of Moscow.”
However, the 112 Telegram channel published videos showing footage of damage to the 50-storey IQ-quarter building in Moscow-City business center, which houses the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.
Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Ministry documents were thrown into the streets of Moscow by a blast wave, 122 TG channel reported.
According to Russian news outlet TASS, one civilian was injured.
Later, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported Ukraine allegedly attacked Crimea overnight with 25 drones, 16 of which were shot down by air defense and nine suppressed by electronic warfare equipment.
“An attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by twenty-five UAVs of the airplane type against facilities on the territory of the Crimean peninsula has been thwarted tonight,” Russia’s MoD said.
“Sixteen Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed by air defense fire. Another nine Ukrainian drones were suppressed by means of electronic warfare and, having failed to reach their target, crashed in the waters of the Black Sea near Cape Tarkhankut. There were no casualties or damage as a result of the foiled terrorist attack.”
