Ukraine launched the “We Build Ukraine” initiative, bringing together international partners for a collective reconstruction endeavor, the Head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure, Mustafa Nayem, announced on Facebook.
The initiative seeks to bring together various nations, organizations, and businesses to contribute to Ukraine’s recovery following the devastating war with Russia. Mustafa Nayem emphasized the significance of international collaboration in rebuilding Ukraine.
“We build Ukraine is an institutional partnership with everyone who is already helping to rebuild Ukraine or is planning to do so,” Mustafa Nayem stated, according to Ukrinform.
He highlighted the importance of both financial and technical assistance, noting that Ukraine’s infrastructure, economy, and social fabric require substantial investment.
“We need robust investments to rebuild our roads, bridges, and other critical infrastructure, as well as to revive our energy and agricultural sectors.” Nayem stated.
The “We Build Ukraine” initiative also seeks to facilitate knowledge exchange and expertise sharing among international partners. The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development invites all interested international partners to join the “We Build Ukraine” initiative.
They also emphasize that Digital Restoration Ecosystem for Accountable Management (DREAM) will ensure effective and transparent restoration. This system is based on the principle that “everyone sees everything.” International partners will be able to choose projects for financing and monitor their implementation at each stage.
