A 45-year-old man was injured by shrapnel after a Russian S-300 missile exploded above Kharkiv's Saltivka district, according to Kharkiv Oblast Head Oleh Syniehubov. Overall, five missiles were launched from Russia's Belgorod overnight into 8 Ocrober.
Altogether, four fires started after the missile strike: in office, residential, business buildings, as well as the roof of a school, according to the state emergency service.
Firefighters extinguished the fire that erupted after remnants of the missile fell on an office building. Suspilne visited the site; here are their photos, taken by Oleksandra Novosel.
