At about 00:15, local residents of the Russian-occupied city of Kadiivka, Luhansk Oblast started reporting explosions in their city lying about 40 kilometers behind the front lines. Later it turned out that what was a local “palace of culture” (concert hall) was on fire after an alleged Ukrainian GMLS attack.

According to Donbas sources, the Kadiivka Palace of Culture was known for being one of the bases and ammunition warehouses of mercenaries of the Russian military group PMC Wagner.
