12 new MP’s without university degrees


Twelve of the members of the newly elected Verkhovna Rada do not hold university degrees. This data is included in the information regarding the new parliament published by hromadske.tv today.

This number constitutes 2,9% of the elected MP’s. Besides, the eighth Verkhovna Rada includes 22 officials who are over 61 years of age. There is one member who had been part of every Parliament before.

159 MP’s from the old Parliament were re-elected, eight of which left during the work of the seventh Parliament.
