The press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration reported that a criminal group, which robbed ordinary people while impersonated the Right Sector [a Ukrainian nationalist political party that originated in November 2013 as a paramilitary confederation at the Euromaidan – Transl.] has been detained at a checkpoint near the village of Sosnovka in Pokrovsky County.
According to the report, self-defense forces of Pokrovsky County and the special unit “Kryvbass” carried out the arrest.
The criminal group operated in the territory of Velikonovoselkovsky County of Donetsk Oblast.
During the search of their car at a checkpoint, the law enforcement seized an F-1 antipersonnel grenade, two assault rifles with five magazines, and a gas pistol with a magazine.
The three men were served with written notices of suspicion of committing a crime for illegal possession of weapons and taken into custody.
