LvivMozArt is an international festival of classical music launched to unite the best Ukrainian and world musicians. The event is held annually in Lviv. It is called MozArt, because Franz Xaver Mozart, a son of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was a famous pedagogue, pianist, conductor, and composer who from 1808 to 1838 lived in Lviv (Lemberg). He was actively creating a favorable environment for music in the city.
