Russian army appropriates American logo

The new logo for the “Army of Russia” was officially presented at a ceremony at the Alabino training range near Moscow, Saturday, June 21, reports Espreso TV, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.

im578x383-IMG_0050The new logo for the Russian Army was designed by employees of the design department at the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It has been reported that, in developing the new logo, the designers carefully considered the traditions and forms of the Russian army and based it on the five-pointed star, which for three thousand years has been seen as a symbol of protection and security.

The new logo bears a strange resemblance to the former logo of the well-known American mall.
