A proposed shift in UK military strategy could see British instructors operating on Ukrainian soil for the first time since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Starting in fall 2024, Sweden may deploy personnel to Ukraine to support defense procurement, maintain donated equipment, and gather insights into its battlefield performance.
"We have received more training requests as Ukraine continues to mobilize, in particular for basic training'' Lieutenant-General Andreas Marlow, head of the EU's special training command near Berlin, said in an interview on Thursday 27 June.
