A perimeter of ships on high alert in Ukrainian territorial waters in the Black Sea is being approached by three Russian missile ships and the missile cruiser Moscow, the Border Guard Service of Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine.

“According to our latest information, the marine guard vessels that recently left Balaklava in Sevastopol are being approached by three missile launchers and the missile cruiser Moscow, which belong to the Russian Federation,” says Serhiy Astakhov, head of the State Border Guard Service.

According to Astakhov, it is not clear why the Russian vessels are approaching the Ukrainian border. Earlier, it was reported that armed people were trying to capture the marine guard detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in Sevastopol.
