Lithuania delivered a new military assistance package to Ukraine, which is scheduled to arrive this week, according to the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense reports.
The package includes ammunition, mortars, and generators for Ukrainian forces.
According to the Lithuanian Defense Ministry, this aid package was provided to Ukraine as part of the Defense Forces’ preparation for winter.
Since Russia’s full-scale invasion, Lithuania has consistently supported Ukraine. Its assistance since then has exceeded 705 million euros. The country’s total long-term support package for Ukraine has surpassed 1 billion euros.
Throughout 2024, Lithuania has already supplied Ukraine’s Armed Forces with 155mm ammunition, M113 armored personnel carriers, and anti-drone systems.
The support also included winter equipment, warm clothing sets, Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher ammunition, RISE-1 remote detonation systems, generators, loaders, trailers, and folding beds.
The ministry also revealed plans to finance the production of Ukraine’s long-range drone missile “Palianytsia.”
