Russian attacks on Ukraine intensified this week, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He reported approximately 20 missile launches, over 800 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 400 drone strikes against Ukrainian targets.

Russia intensifies its air campaign against Ukraine with nightly strikes on civilian areas. Dozens of Shahed drones, missiles, and guided bombs target residential neighborhoods and infrastructure, aiming to terrorize civilians and devastate Ukrainian cities.

The assault peaked over the weekend with 5,130 attacks, including 144 from multiple rocket launchers and 82 airstrikes. Ukraine's General Staff confirmed that 130 guided aerial bombs were used.

Nightly raids targeted civilian areas in major cities. In Odesa, drone strikes hit a warehouse, critically injuring one person. Kyiv endured a five-hour drone assault, with most UAVs reportedly intercepted.

"This daily air terror can be stopped. It requires unity among partners and long-range capabilities," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.

He plans to address this at the "Ramstein" format meeting with partners on 12 October.
