New satellite imagery reveals extensive damage to a major Russian military arsenal in Tver Oblast following a recent drone attack. The 23rd Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) near Oktyabrsky village has suffered significant destruction, according to analysis by American OSINT researcher MT_Anderson.

According to the OSINT specialist, more than 58 warehouse buildings and several open ammunition sites have been “turned to ash or heavily damaged.”

The researcher notes that “the railway ammunition loading areas were also affected” and suggests that “trains carrying ammunition were present during the strike.”

Over the past week, there have been two strikes on ammunition depots in Tver Oblast, Russia. These attacks appear to be part of a broader campaign targeting Russian military infrastructure.

The attack, which occurred on 21 September, resulted in a fire and detonation at the ammunition depot. Local authorities responded by closing a federal highway and evacuating a nearby station.

This incident follows another drone strike on 18 September in Toropets, Tver Oblast. Sources claim that drones operated by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), military intelligence (GUR), and Special Operations Forces successfully targeted a major depot of the Russian Ministry of Defense’s Main Missile and Artillery Directorate in Toropets.

The Toropets facility reportedly stored missiles for Iskander operational-tactical missile systems, Tochka-U tactical missile complexes, as well as precision-guided bombs and artillery ammunition.
