Ukraine’s National Resistance Center has revealed that Russia has recruited mercenaries from the Wagner private military company to conduct propaganda lessons for Ukrainian children.
Wagner is known to commit a large number of war crimes in Ukraine, including killings of civilians in the city of Bucha in Kyiv Oblast. Now, members of the military organization are “educating” children in camps, where Russia takes them from temporarily occupied territories.
In particular, the mercenaries are preparing the smallest ones for future service in the Russian armed forces during the “dialogues with heroes” lessons. In camps, the alleged war criminals brainwash children by distorting facts about the Russian war on Ukraine.
One of the lessons given by an individual from the Wagner, who was previously sentenced to eight years in a strict regime colony for illegal drug trafficking on an especially large scale.
Earlier, Ukraine said schools of the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk Oblast introduced additional lessons on “Russian History of the 21st Century” for students in ninth grade.
“Propaganda works with tomorrow’s graduates in advance. Mandatory military registration is still ahead – as soon as they turn 17,” the regional military administration emphasized.

As noted, a significant part of the “course” is dedicated to Russia’s war against Ukraine.
