On 10 December, the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, described the situation at the frontline in eastern Ukraine as “complicated.”
“The operational situation in the east remains complicated. The enemy does not stop conducting offensive actions along the entire frontline,” Syrskyi said in a message published on Telegram channel.
The general said that the commanders of the eastern front sectors “analyzed the situation in detail and considered options for further action.”
“We jointly made the necessary decisions and took measures to ensure the stability of our defense, save the lives of our soldiers and rationally use ammunition,” the statement said.
General Syrskyi did not specify what measures are to be taken.
