On 22 November, the website of Germany’s Federal Government updated the list of the nation’s military aid delivered to Ukraine. The new aid package includes more fighting vehicles, one more mine-clearing tank, crypto phones, artillery shells, and various vehicles.
The Government notes that the delivered equipment and weapons come from supplies of the German Federal Arms Forces and from deliveries from industry financed by the Federal Government’s funds for security capacity building.
All updated items are as follows:
- 20 infantry fighting vehicles MARDER with ammunition (from Bundeswehr and industry stocks) (before: 60)
- 2,380 rounds 155mm ammunition (before: 19,530)
- 1 mine clearing tank WISENT 1 (before: 11)
- 2,428 Crypto Phones (before: 239)
- 2 truck tractor trains 8×8 HX81 and 2 semi-trailers (before: 79/74)
- 9 vehicles (trucks, minibuses, all-terrain vehicles) (before: 300)
- 5 All Terrain Tracked Carrier Warthog Ambulances (before: 5)
- 2 ambulances (before: 47)
Note: The original list shows the total numbers of supplied items instead of the figures showing new supplies. Euromaidan Press has replaced the all-time totals with the actual figures.
A day earlier, on 21 November, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced a new €1.3 billion military assistance package for Ukraine, including four additional IRIS-T air defense systems, 155mm shells, and anti-tank mines.
