An explosive device was dropped on an electrical substation in the village of Snagost in Russia’s Kursk Oblast by a drone operated by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), an SBU source told Ukrainska Pravda. As a result, seven settlements were left without electricity.
According to the SBU source, the SBU’s special operations are “reaching a new level.”
“The Russians need to understand – if they continue attacking Ukrainian energy facilities, they will receive a harsh response. Our resources allow us to do this,” the source stated.
This attack is another confirmation of Ukraine’s ability to strike strategic targets deep in Russian territory.
