Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck multiple Russian military targets overnight, including radar systems of S-300 air defense complexes, logistics facilities, and troop concentration areas, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported on 1 March.

According to the statement, Ukrainian units hit a radar station of an S-300 surface-to-air missile system near Mangush and a radar station of an S-300V4 system near Novokrasnivka, both in temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk Oblast.

The S-300 is a long-range air defense system widely used by Russia to protect key military assets and occupied territories from aerial attacks.

Ukrainian forces also struck an ammunition depot near Yalta and a concentration of Russian personnel near Molodyi Shakhtar in occupied Donetsk Oblast.

In occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, strikes targeted a fuel and lubricants depot near Pryshyb, a repair unit near Bahativka, and troop concentrations near Dunayivka and Poltavka, the General Staff said.

On 28 February, Ukrainian forces also hit Russian drone control points near Prilesye in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast and close to Rodynske in Donetsk Oblast. Additional strikes were reported against a troop concentration area near Stepnohirsk and a drone command post near Uspenivka in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

The General Staff said information on Russian losses and the full extent of the damage is being clarified.

Ukraine’s military said it will continue systematic strikes against Russian forces and assets until Moscow ends its armed aggression against Ukraine.
